The Oregon State Bar Diversity Section is grateful to the many volunteers who are working hard to make this year’s Convocation an impactful event. Click the header above to learn more about the work of the various subcommittees making this event possible.
We are looking for organizations or individuals who want to support the Convocation and its important mission to address bias in the Oregon legal community and judicial system, celebrate significant contributions from diverse members of the Bar, and provide a forum for charting the way forward to enhanced diversity, equity, and inclusion. Various levels of sponsorship are available.

In 2001, the Multnomah Bar Association, the Oregon State Bar, and Oregon Women Lawyers partnered to bring together Oregon’s first Convocation on Equality. Among other notable outcomes, the Diversity Section of the Oregon State Bar was created. Ten years later, in 2011, the second Convocation on Equality took place to revisit the diversity and inclusion efforts in Oregon and celebrate the accomplishments that were made.
